TT Rockstars

 

Make sure you are accessing Timestable Rockstars as often as possible.  Don't forget to access the Numbots system which I told you about last week to keep practising your other mental calculations.  Keep using both of these this week as often as possible.

Telling the Time

This week we are going to look at telling the time.  Let's make sure we are familiar with some basics:

  • There are 60 seconds in a minute
  • There are 60 minutes in an hour.
  • There are 24 hours in a day
  • These are split into 12 in the AM and 12 in the PM
  • A new day starts at 12 midnight (00:00 or 12:00AM)
  • We have an analogue clock with an hour hand, minute hand and second hand.
  • Digital clock can give time in 12 hour and 24 hour time.
