Wednesday 10th February

Good morning Year 3.  Today there is some Maths, English, Science and History for you to have a go at.  Make sure you upload your work onto Seesaw so that I can have a look at what you have been doing.

 

Reading Plus and TT Rockstars

 

Start today by spending some time completing at least two sessions of your reading plus and some time practising your timetables on TT Rockstars.

 

Maths

 

Today you are going to carry on with reading and interpreting tables.  Take a look at the lesson presentation and then give the activities a go.  Work through the fluency, then the reasoning and then give the problem solving questions a go.

English

 

Carrying on with looking at Internet Safety, I would like you to complete one of the attached Reading Comprehension Activities.  Remember, the higher the number of stars, the more difficult the comprehension.  Pick the one which will challenge you the most.

Science

 

Today you are going to explore how the different rocks on our Earth can change.  You will do this be watching and engaging with the lesson on the Oak National Academy.  Use the link below to take a look at the lesson which has been put together on the Oak National Academy website.

History

 

Today we are going to look what different artefacts tell us about how the people of the Stone Age lived during the different periods that we have looked at previously.  You will do this by watching and engaging with the lesson which is on the Oak National Academy.  The link to this is below.
