GAMES/ PE

This term, we have games on MONDAY and WEDNESDAY. Children should come to school in PE kit on these days.

SPELLINGS

Spellings are tested on FRIDAY. You can find spelling overviews for each term below.

HOMEWORK - TIMES TABLES

Children will be required to learn a specific times table and will be tested each week. Some useful websites are listed below. 

READING CHALLENGE

All books are allocated with a book review, which needs to be completed to a high standard with lots of detail in blue pen or writing pencil, and should be returned on the given due date along with the book. Please ensure that your child is reading these books every night and are brought back on their due date so a new book can be issued.

If reading challenge books are returned to school early, children will be given the opportunity to choose a book from the school library to take home and read until a new reading challenge book is issued. 

READING PLUS

Children are expected to read 3x weekly at home and this needs to be done before midnight on Thursday each week. It then resets for Friday and the new week begins. A letter explaining how to log onto Reading Plus has been sent home.
