  • Low Bank Ground final update...

    Fri 18 Dec 2015

Good morning everybody! What a fantastic week we've had! The children have been ace. We've just finished breakfast and are now preparing for our final activities...the children in my group have chosen to go kayaking again and the other groups are off for one final adventure!

We are due to leave Low Bank Ground after lunch to return to school. The children are so excited to see you all!

Enjoy your day, see you all soon.

    Mr Kearon.

Mr. Kearon's group were up a mountain this morning. The other children were coppicing with the National Trust and ghyll scrambling.

All the children are having a great time.

Another excellent day! The children are now relaxing and playing games in the common room after a very busy day orienteering, ghyll scrambling, National Trust conservation and taking part in a self-led walk. They're thoroughly enjoying themselves (as are the staff!) and have been a real credit to our school an you, their families.

Unfortunately the server is down and so internet access is limited. We will give the children the opportunity to write a blog this evening and I will hopefully get chance to upload them at some point tomorrow, along with some photographs, so keep checking!

    Tuesday December 15th 2015

After arriving safely, settling in and having lunch the children went canoeing. Some of the children went up 'Croc Creek' while others carried out a rescue mission to collect lost buoys that had been carried away during the floods.

The weather was good and the lake extremely calm.

After sleeping well the children are busy doing their daily tasks and looking forward to the activities today.
